Built for real sun

Koobarra is a high-performance zinc oxide sunscreen made in Australia for harsh sun. It protects, hydrates and sits comfortably on the skin, without fragrance or a greasy finish.

It sits slightly thicker than chemical sunscreen. That's how non-nano mineral protection works: it forms a barrier on your skin instead of being absorbed.

Water resistant for up to 80 minutes, so it stays on through swimming, surfing and sport. Reapply after 80 minutes in the water or sweating, and straight after towel drying.

How to apply

  1. Dot

Dot it across your face and neck about 15 minutes before you head out. Be generous.

  2. Spread evenly

It starts rich. Smooth it out and the tint blends in as it sets.

  3. Head outdoors

Let it set, then get into it: the water, the trail, the field.

  4. Reapply

At least every 2 hours, after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and straight after towel drying.

What type of sunscreen is Koobarra?

Koobarra Mineral Face Sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen made with non-nano zinc oxide. It gives broad-spectrum SPF 50 protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

Which tint should I choose?

Light tint suits fair and lighter skin. Medium tint suits sun-kissed and medium skin. Both have the same SPF 50 mineral formula, so the only difference is the shade.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The formula is unscented and fragrance-free, dermatologist tested and non-comedogenic.

Does it leave a white cast?

Both versions have a light tint that blends into the skin and reduces the white cast you usually get from mineral sunscreen.

Is it water resistant?

Yes, for up to 80 minutes, so it holds up through swimming, surfing, sport and sweat. Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and straight after towel drying.
